Seminar on IBM Cloud Computing

三月十六日，由海外华人高新技术协会(OCAHT),  中国高校校友会联合会 (UCAA), 硅谷天津大学校友会(SVTUAA), 旧金山湾区南开校友会共同举办的Cloud Computing讲座在南湾举行. 主讲人是从事云计算事业多年的资深专家来自IBM的凌棕博士.  讲座吸引了众多湾区从事相关专业的同行专家和工程师。 由于云计算愈演愈烈，许多非专业人士也前来进行科普培训。 凌博士深入浅出，介绍了云计算的历史，现状和未来。 与会的专家也提出个人的感想，会场气氛热烈。鉴于此次讲座成功，我们今后会对相关题目继续进行多方位、多层次研讨。

Bio for the speaker: 
Zong Ling, Ph. D., is a Senior Software Engineer/Scientist in IBM Software Group at IBM Almaden Research Center. Over past 14 years, Zong has been working on evaluating the performance of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Products and distributed clouding storage systems. As part of his routine work, Zong engaged customer services globally through troubleshooting performance issues, providing training classes, publishing whitepapers and reports. Also, Zong presented IBM storage product performance tuning topics at IBM Global e-Business University, IBM Software University, Tivoli Pulse, and Tivoli Academy.
